Featuring beautiful floral quilting fabrics, paisleys, plaids, checks, leafy prints and tonal dots, Winsome combines nostalgic charm with a fresh, slightly brighter colour palette.
Designed by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex, the collection features soft pink, azure blue, celery, moss green, teal, and cream. Larger blossom prints are complemented by delicate floral sprigs and versatile small-scale coordinates, making Winsome easy to mix and match for both traditional and contemporary patchwork projects.

Winsome has a special connection to Megelles.
When the original Winsome collection was released in 2007, Lisa bought the fabrics for her own sewing projects and to make clothing for her handmade teddy bears. Small amounts were also sold at craft and teddy shows at the time.
Lisa still has a quilt and wall hanging made from the original Winsome fabrics, so seeing the collection return nearly 20 years later brings back plenty of memories.
Megelles later developed into the online patchwork and quilting fabric store you know today, making it particularly special that Winsome has now returned to the studio — this time as a collection exclusive to Megelles in Australia.
The new release is a little brighter than Lisa remembers the original fabrics, but it still has the florals, gentle coordinates and unmistakable Nancy Halvorsen style that made her fall in love with the collection the first time around.
The Winsome collection includes a versatile mix of:

The combination of feature prints and smaller coordinates makes Winsome particularly suited to patchwork quilts, baby and nursery quilts, traditional quilts, cottage-style projects, appliqué, cushions, bags, table runners, wall hangings and handmade gifts.
Winsome fabrics are 100% cotton quilting fabric, approximately 110–112 cm wide.
Individual fabric is sold in 25 cm increments across the width of fabric:
1 unit = 25 cm x WOF
2 units = 50 cm x WOF
3 units = 75 cm x WOF
4 units = 1 metre x WOF
When you order multiple units of the same fabric, we cut them as one continuous length wherever possible.
