Winsome by Nancy Halvorsen is a beautiful collection of floral quilting fabrics, paisleys, plaids, checks, leafy prints and tonal dots in a soft, timeless palette of pink, azure blue, celery green, moss, teal and cream.
Designed by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex, Winsome brings treasured archived prints back for a new generation of quilters. The collection combines delicate blossoms and small floral sprigs with classic coordinating prints, creating a wonderfully versatile range for both traditional and contemporary patchwork.
The gentle colours and nostalgic designs make Winsome particularly lovely for baby quilts, nursery quilts, patchwork quilts, cottage-style projects, cushions, bags, home décor and handmade gifts. The smaller checks, dots, plaids and tonal prints are also useful stash fabrics for borders, bindings, backgrounds and coordinating blocks.
Winsome is particularly special to us here at Megelles. The original Winsome collection dates back to 2007 and was one of the early fabric collections Lisa purchased for Megelles. Almost 20 years later, it is lovely to welcome these familiar Nancy Halvorsen designs back into the studio.
If you loved the original Winsome fabrics, this revived collection brings back that same gentle, nostalgic character. And if you're discovering Winsome for the first time, its soft colours and classic designs make it an easy collection to mix, match and use across all sorts of quilting and sewing projects.
Our Winsome collection includes coordinating pink, blue, green, teal and cream quilting fabrics, from larger floral designs through to small-scale prints that work beautifully together.
All individual Winsome fabrics at Megelles are 100% cotton quilting fabric, approximately 110–112 cm wide, and are sold in 25 cm increments across the width of fabric.
How to order fabric:
1 unit = 25 cm x width of fabric
2 units = 50 cm x width of fabric
3 units = 75 cm x width of fabric
4 units = 1 metre x width of fabric
Multiple units of the same fabric are cut as one continuous length wherever possible.
